ToolGuyd’s Oct. 13 report highlighted a range of Home Depot tool deals, including a DeWalt DW735 planer bundle that readers said was available earlier than they expected. The post and comments also point to pricing inconsistencies among some M12 drill-kit configurations; the source does not provide a full itemized deal list or verify how long prices will last.
ToolGuyd published a Home Depot tool-deals roundup on Oct. 13, 2026, drawing reader attention to a DeWalt DW735 planer bundle and to inconsistent prices on similar M12 drill/driver kits. The post’s comments describe purchases and compare listed configurations, but the supplied report does not establish how long any offer will remain available or independently verify current prices.
The most detailed discussion concerned a DeWalt DW735 planer. One commenter said the deal appeared earlier than the holiday-season sale they remembered from the prior year and reported placing an order. Another commenter said they had ordered a DW735 bundle through the roundup. These are reader reports; the source does not provide order records or confirm that the promotion is still active.
Comments also distinguish the DW735 sold on its own from the DW735X, which a commenter described as including extra blades and extension tables. A reader said extension tables were effectively necessary for their use, while another noted that a stand could be useful for a shop without a fixed workbench. Those remarks reflect individual experience, not a product assessment by Home Depot.
A separate exchange raised questions about M12 drill/driver kit pricing. A reader said a kit with a bit set and another version without the set were both listed at $199, while a third, reportedly similar version cost $215. ToolGuyd’s Stuart replied that bundle configurations and bit-set prices had varied across recent promotions, and suggested that list-price-based pricing could help explain discrepancies. The available source does not identify the exact stock numbers or independently confirm the listings.
Comparing Tool Bundles Before Checkout
The roundup matters to shoppers because bundle contents can change the value of an advertised price. A planer package may include accessories or a stand that are not part of a bare-tool listing, while two drill kits with similar descriptions may carry different prices. Comparing item numbers and included components before ordering can help buyers avoid treating unlike packages as equivalent.
The comments also show why a deal roundup is a starting point rather than a guarantee. Readers described placing orders, but prices, inventory and promotion terms can change. The source does not give a complete, independently checked catalogue of the offers, so shoppers should confirm the current listing and final checkout price directly with Home Depot.

Readers Compare Planer Packages
The report appeared ahead of the main U.S. holiday-shopping period. One commenter said they had expected the DW735 to go on sale much later in the season, based on their recollection of the previous year. That is a shopper’s comparison, not a verified timeline for Home Depot’s annual promotions.
In the comments, Stuart said Home Depot had offered several bundle options in recent deals, involving two different screwdriver-bit sets. He also said one set had previously been priced at $15 and another at $25, and described past cases where buying components separately appeared cheaper than a bundle. Those figures and comparisons are attributed to his comments; the source does not document their dates or provide a current price check.
“Some of the pricing doesn’t make sense on this sale.”

Prices and Stock Need Checking
The supplied report does not include a complete list of deals, product links with item numbers, or a snapshot of Home Depot’s live checkout prices. It is therefore not possible to confirm from this material which offers remain available, whether the listed prices apply to every location, or whether shipping and pickup options affect the total.
The M12 pricing discrepancy is based on a reader’s description of similar listings. The comments do not establish whether the kits had identical model numbers, whether the bit sets were the same, or whether a promotion or listing error caused the price gap. The DW735 comments likewise do not confirm the current contents or price of the bundle across all listings.

Verify Listings Before Ordering
Shoppers considering an item from the roundup should check Home Depot’s current product page for the model number, included accessories, stock status and final price before placing an order. For the planer, that means confirming whether the listing is for a DW735 or DW735X and identifying any included stand, blades or extension tables. For M12 kits, buyers should compare the exact item numbers and bundle contents rather than relying on a similar product name.
ToolGuyd’s source page may receive further reader comments, but it does not state that additional price checks or a follow-up report are planned. Whether the deals continue, sell out or change in price remains subject to Home Depot’s live listings.
